Hello Red, I have a to-do with you...

Please stand down from GrogStop65.

You have well stated your point....several times over.

I know all about your troubles(who the hell could miss it).

But you have yourself posted in various places that you guys have made your piece.

I read the link from your banner & did not give it a thought to reply, but afterwards I wished to do what I am now doing.

GrogStop65 only wishes you well with your own endeavors at this point.

I received a points reduction from Auran, replied to the PM & was reinstated with no points by Boco.

If the truth came out & you had an agreement with John on a DEM route from Lake City, TN to Harriman including the Kingston Steam Plant, I was the creator of the DEM.

But a spam-blocker kept John from receiving my e-mail....

I hope that was not your project....

Let's remain as friends.

Allen/Backyard

Actually Allen, I had tried to negotiate with John for it to all go away and he wanted me to pay him for it to happen.

I sent John this message

It’s time to end this childish game and move on to other things in life. You want my site gone and want something too, maybe we can both win.

Here’s what is fair for the site I own to go away.

1-Evan gets a full refund

2-Matruck gets a refund or the route, no matter the shape.

3-You publicly apologize to them both (make any excuse you like)

4-You abandon your Volunteer project (we both no it is a joke anyway) and tell me who you got the DEM from.

What do you get?
The TER site I own goes away and I never comment on a post you make from here out. I'll even buy the DEM you say you had made once I verify with the creator you bought it.

I’m tired of games. We can go tit for tat as long as you like but sooner or later it makes us both look foolish.

Once the above 4 are done, my site goes away and you’ll never hear a peep from me again.

You don’t like that idea, then tell me what you think is fair.

I think that is more than fair really since most of it you have already said publicly you’d do.

We both know that we aren’t going to get lawyers involved so anything we do is just to piss the other person off.

BTW-Feel free to join the TER forums and express your views on what is posted there and how you see it having turned out. I think it is your right if you do not agree to the above. I am not on an anti you campaign, but only a consumer awareness campaign.

If you do not have the money to refund to the people above then just tell them you spend their money already and can’t refund it. Give them the route as it is now and allow them to fix it themselves.

--he replies

1-Evan gets a full refund - Of course. I also sent him all many of my other products free of charge.

2-Matruck gets a refund or the route, no matter the shape. - His routes actually uploading tonight. Mick and I are friends and talk on a nightly basis.

3-You publicly apologize to them both (make any excuse you like) - I have already, and the moderators would be angered so I shouldn't.

4-You abandon your Volunteer project (we both no it is a joke anyway) and tell me who you got the DEM from. - I paid one of my route builders to DEM the route. He does not want his ID known, so I'm afraid I can't tell you.
If you delete http://www.trainzeasternroute.com and ditch the name trainz eastern route than we can talk about my project. I'm going to use the DEM that i paid for, for something.

Now in order for John to not STEAL my route concept and name; he wants me to pay him fifty dollars.

I won't use the DEM for the Volunteer Corp if you send me the $50 I spent on obtaining it. I won't compromise there. I would also like to see TrainzEasternRoute as a group renamed and trainzeasternroute.com deleted.

Even gave me until Monday to refund his money, he will have it by than.

And don't worry about Mick. The MT sub project will live on and he will be apart of it.

Quote:Red, I am here in Cookeville, you need to call me: (931)432-

I don't really want John to know about this...if we find out you mention me, I'll deal with that situation later...

As I said, I have a route ready(LakeCityHarriman) on Rapid Share but this is slam getting into the middle of your **** I don't want to be involved in...

Because I don't actually know if you are the original payee of the route.

I have already been compensated for the route....

The original client wished to have this route(outlined on a Google Map), to produce a "fictitious" route, I don't know who, but heck, who is the wiser?

I just want you to shut your mouth about John B(GrogStop65).

He has me in good standing & I have a generous setup of baseboards, ridge to ridge.

Let's give this guy another start at what he wishes to do & let him stand on his own merits. He is a pretty good painter & I don't know **** about scenery....

God knows, he has been put through the mill on this...

We have other plans on routes that will take Trainz to the Southeast, I assure you!

I don't announce what I am doing(well maybe a hint every now & then), but I have been running trains from Jersey to Braswell for months in 'o9...

I know you are against payware, however I have been denied unemployment compensation & that took 6 weeks to find out...My dad left this area in '65 for Florida for the same reason....no work...I am damn well staying here! Work with me...

You may know, that John B don't know **** about track & signal but if given a chance to scenic a tracked route I'm sure he will...."blow your nuts off."

As sure as you sit where you are, I'll see you one day....

I have also an unction about JRT...but that can wait.

Heck dude, I have just e-mailed a friend about commercial DEM.

Work with us, or hate us, it's up to you!

So as it stands, I am not closing my site. John steals from people and we both know it. This time he has meet someone who will not lay down for him to roll over.

I have no issues with you, but John knew what he was doing when he started all this mess.

I tried to make peace with John and he has not wanted to do so. I was very clear on what I wanted/expected and he said pay me. I’ll not trust him on this, I do not feel I can. If John wants peace, he knows what it’ll take.

All of the above and also the W.VA sub he promised me for waiting so long on my route, which he did not do. My site traffic and content crew grows more each day, I had two more projects committed just today, so if you speak for/with him, he needs to act fast and do so in a manner that will make things right.

Oh one change too, John can just send his apology to Trainz magazine or post it on the three major sites in Trainz.

I’m ready to shut all this down, but it will not be for nothing. I got money invested now and I got support.

I appreciate your words and concern man. But short of above, I’ll not be swayed.

On a die note, I have a DEM I need made, does my response make our working together impossible?

Quote: Hello Red, I just read your first e-mail & I
don't know the particulars & don't have an involvement, although my first assignment was Baltimore to Philly...

Then came the LkCityHarr. route.

Dude must be all cranked up with nowhere to go.... ...a third shift job...

I don't know, haven't never met him...but let's go on Further....

Leave me out of it....

I'm trying to get a commercial license to DEM using the availible utility, or otherwise we may have to meet the enemy at our door....

I don't know...I just run a consist of Norfolk And Western F units they got off the Wabash...I learned you can take PaintShed maps & size them to 2048sq. to make emblems & made the N&W hamburger logo by hand....

It's sooooo goooood here

I am not against you man. I understand your position as well.

So you have the DEM Lake City, Tenn to Harrimen, Tenn with the Briceville branch, Beachgrove spur? Just the DEM, correct?

I work as an Oil Field Foreman which is why I am up now.

If you go and search Oliver Springs, you will find the first mention of the route that you made the DEM for. I truthfully have no reason to lie about this either.

Lake City is where I grew up. Lake City used to be known as Coal Creek. Put two and two together and you make the Volunteer Line.

I’m not against payware man, I am aginst shoddy payware work. John took my ideas, money and time and wasted all three. I own many RRMods engines as well as some Jointedrail content.

So you and John are in business together?

So what is it you propose?

Quote:Well, here is a link to the route from LkCtyHarr. It's set up for TRS2004 but should commit in later versions.

You do not need to tell John you have this, I do not know anything about it....

Our original agreement is that my identification as well as any TransDEM data is removed...until I can get authorization from Dr. Roland...please respect this wish.

I do have the Interstate Route. That is a route I did because I wish to link the Andover coal business via Appalachia to my current fav, Chatt to Atl.

Plant Hammond in West Rome, GA is a client of NS for 6,500tons of Appalachian Coal from Andover on NS Train 708/709mt NB....

My focus is from Andover to Cohutta.

But the Interstate RR hooks up with the old N&W, SOU, L&N, CRR's in there respective locations & one night I went wild...

I have a week or so left with my sub to RapidShare, so it's up to you provided it stops the hate....

As I said, I suspect using BCC for addresses listed me as "From undisclosed recipients," so that may have staggered John's progress in a way...

Since my deal was for a "route of unknown origin for freelance purposes," I can tell you we really need a true connection from Harriman to Knoxville, plus any other connecting Roads....

Do what you wish, just don't bite the hand that bakes your bread...!

If you violate my wish for autonomy, you will run routes for which you wish you could have access to a track & signal expert for help...

Backyard.

Backyard.

It really started for me when I first looked at his website a few months ago and saw his routes that he had made. He posted a few screenshots for his routes and it looked like a real life photograph. I thought it was so awesome looking that I decided to buy New England Fall. I purchased the route, it was sent the next day, downloaded it and installed. The route was installed with several errors, and many missing dependencies. The route was completely installed with everything sent in the email. I said wtf and loaded up the route. It took about 15 minutes to load the route, when it was finally loaded I could barely even do anything. I had installed it on a fresh install of windows, and my system specs surpassed the recommended requirements for TS09. The route was very laggy, I tried to lay out some cars and attempted to play around on the route a bit but it was far too laggy to even play.

I shut the game down and immediately sent an email to John asking for help with the route. I got an email over a week later basically saying he was too busy with other stuff to help and to send him my system specs. And that was the last time I ever received an email from him regarding the issue.

Then he released Mountain Sub Division part 1. I saw the screenshots on the Trainz forums and got suckered into paying $45 dollars for the route. What a mistake that was. I sent him the money, and never got the route. All I got was complete bull & got beat around the bush about it. I one thread about this, and was referred to another thread where he said that he would no longer be shipping the routes. This was a month later. I sent him an multiple emails back and forth asking about the route. The route never came so I asked for a FULL refund. 2 weeks later I received an email from John saying that he will give me a refund but it wouldn't be through paypal. Then a week later he sent me another email offering to give me New England Falls (which I already owned) and to refund me through either paypal/check/bank account.

I demanded it through paypal, which was the service I used to purchase the route with. I have yet to receive my refund.
